The biggest difference between this departure and that of Patrick Vieira in 2018 was that the news broke much sooner to Deila’s departure. There was no weeks long tug of war between the coach and the media. There was the game in Belson Stadium, the away match in Minnesota and then all of a sudden Ronny was gone.
