The Dallas Draw and the Cincy Scramble / Ep 336 / Blue City Radio

Episode 336:

NYCFC went into Tuesday’s game thinking that Ricardo Pepi was going to be a focal point of the FC Dallas attack. James Sands did an excellent job containing Pepi through out most of the match. Unfortunately it would be the rest of the Dallas offense that would help the Texas team split the points from Red Bull Arena.

On Saturday for the second time in as many games, the club would concede an fourth minute goal. Luckily for the first time since May, NYCFC would show the resilience necessary to steal three points on the road ending their seven game road winless streak.

This week Mike, J.R. and Mike Allen give their thoughts on the two games and look ahead at Derby Week.

After previewing the opponent for Tuesday, the guys recap the most recent loss for NYCFC as they dropped all three points to league leaders, New England Revolution.

A Hot Sticky Costly Point / Ep 248 / Blue City Radio

Episode 248:

NYCFC traveled down to Frisco, TX for their game Sunday versus FC Dallas. While the team seemed to be turning the corner on the injury front with recent positive reports on Heber, Sands, Scally and Moralez they would leave the Lone Star state with a few more questions to ask as Anton Tinnerholm and Texas native Keaton Parks would both suffer injuries in the 1-1 draw.

This week Mike, Jon, J.R. and Mike Allen welcome Keira Mun Smith on the Gabila’s Knish Hotline to talk about the underwhelming draw and a look at the other notable results from the weekend.

Epsiode 170:

We really enjoy bringing listeners these preview episodes.  As much as we can we try to pair our interviews with people that are familiar with NYCFC’s upcoming opponents and audio from training, sometimes getting to training is more difficult than it may seem.

This week Mike Anderer and Mike Allen have a great conversation with Fox Sports play-by-play announcer, Mark Followill.  We really hope you enjoy Mark’s perspective on FC Dallas.

As always, all of our guests join us on the Gabila’s Knish Hotline.
