Episode 277:
The first major European league returned to the field this week in Germany. While at times some teams looked fit and in sync as if the pause never happened, others played slow and soft as if the matches in empty stadiums were scrimmages. Regardless of the outcomes of specific matches, soccer fans worldwide rejoiced by tuning in to the weekend’s games.
This week Mike, J.R. and Mike Allen discuss what they liked and didn’t like about the broadcasts as they try and figure out what the MLS version of the product will be once released.
In the middle segment former NYCFC defender, Chris Wingert, joins the show to share some touching and detailed stories about the club’s first year.
