A game that looked locked up by the 60′ quickly turned tense as FC Cincinnati Head Coach, Jaap Stam, made some in game adjustments while Ronny Deila continued his rigid form of under utilizing substitutions.

This week Christian Smith from Husdon River Blue joins the show to give his insights. Together with Mike and Mike Allen the trio discuss the in stadium atmosphere and what NYCFC got right and wrong on Saturday.

NYCFC finally earned their first victory of the MLS 2020 Season taking advantage of a struggling Inter Miami FC team.

While not in control of their own destiny the team still currently has a 43% chance of advancing into the knockout rounds of the MLSisBack tournament.

In what is quickly becoming the oddest year for NYCFC the club left Yankee Stadium embarassed.  Not only were they unable to score against a team that the previous week had conceded seven goals to Sporting Kansas City, they also held a man advantage for twenty plus minutes, but worse than all was the condition on the pitch.

NYCFC and CFG need to take full advantage of the next two games on the road and figure out what went wrong before the team hosts Chicago and Orlando in late April.

Shin-anigans Versus LAFC / Ep 221 / Blue City Radio

LAFC and their supporters rolled large into New York this past weekend.  Carlos Vela’s brace was enough to secure a point for the away side.  NYCFC fans got to see more of the brilliance of their newest Designated Player as Alexandru Mitrita scored a beauty goal to give the home side a lead in the first half, but it would be a lead they would relinquish twice during the match.

Mike, Jon and J.R. welcome Justin Egan from The Outfield NYC to the show to discuss the game from the weekend and some rumors that have fans buzzing.

Sean Johnson had to come up big for NYCFC in the 2019 Home Opener.  The keeper knotted three saves for the Cityzens as DC United would use their quick passing to create chances.  James Sands made his second straight start helping to stifle the attack of Wayne Rooney and Luciano Acosta.
