It seems like Jack Harrison’s future as a footballer is becoming more clear, but it also most likely means that his time in MLS has come to an end.  Mike and J.R. discuss the impact that Jack’s departure will have on the club and discuss their opinions on the relationship with CFG in light on the transfer rumor.

Dylan Butler joins the show in the second segment as the guys talk pre-season, Homegrown talent and stadium speculation that was heightened by Melinda Katz, Queensborough President, at her recent State of the Boro address.

NYCFC started off draft day with an unexpected announcement.  They announced the signing of a new striker, Jo Inge Berget.  This only further fuels the speculation on Jack Harrison’s future with the club.

All of this overshadowed the drafting of keeper Jeff Caldwell as the 19th pick in the MLS Superdraft.  Mike, Jon and J.R.  discuss the new signing, and what it means for an already internationally packed NYCFC roster.

In the second segment Bobby Warshaw takes a break from moving into his new apartment to join the show to discuss the draft and talk about his book, When the Dream Became Reality.

NYCFC released their pre-season schedule.  They also added some quality depth to their roster adding two international players to the team in key roles.

With  a new year upon us, there is also a new NYCFC.  The club has made significant steps to change its identity from a team with aging legends to a younger more dynamic players.

Blue City Radio returns for it’s fourth season covering NYCFC.  In this week’s episode hosts Mike Anderer and Jon Sauerschell discuss the signing of NYCFC’s first ever Young Designated Player, Jesus Medina.  Then they share their thoughts about the 2018 MLS schedule.

In the second segment they welcome the newest member of the Blue City Radio family, Dave Harris, to the show to talk about the news of the week both NYCFC related and US Soccer stories.
