Episode 142:
NYCFC traveled to Queens this week to host the Columbus Crew in the final regular season game of the season. Will this be the last time NYCFC plays in Citi Field? Will Queens be the future home of NYCFC’s soccer specific stadium? We’ll have to wait to find out, but what is certain, is that NYCFC can get 20,000 fans to travel to that destination.
Mike and Jon look at the game, the impact the move to Queens had on the team and the fans. In the second segment Kyle Schnitzer from the NY Post joins the show to give his thoughts on this week’s game and NYCFC.

Episode 140:
This will be one of the most dated episodes ever done. Typically recording on Monday and then posting on Wednesday isn’t that much of an issue. But when the USMNT gets eliminated from the World Cup on Tuesday, it’s tough to sound relevant if you’re not talking about their failure.
Mike and Jon do discuss the “more official” announcement from Andrea Pirlo about his retirement from soccer in December. They also discuss the US win over Panama and the US U17’s strong showing in India.
The second segment gives a snapshot into the New England Revolution and how the team looks after the firing of Jay Heaps as Alex Almeida from Six States One Pod joins the show.

Episode 138:
It’s been a difficult time for NYCFC. It’s also been a struggle for Blue City Radio. A string of poor offensive performances for NYCFC has left desperately needed points and some off topic episodes left some listeners avoiding Blue City Radio.
Jon and Mike return to discuss NYCFC’s trip to Chicago. Then in the second segment Glenn Crooks joins the show to give his coach’s perspective on NYCFC’s current run of form.
The show closes with a discussion on what followers think of Patrick Vieira’s level of responsibility in NYCFC’s slide.
