Marsch v Geiger v Vieira / Ep 80 / Blue City Radio

Episode 80:

It started a week before the game with the comments and the jabs.  It lasted 35 minutes.  The confrontation between Patrick Vieira and Jesse Marsch was short-lived.  NYCFC fell short in their second attempt to earn a point in Harrison, NJ.  But the fans had a great time and Fox sure did get a show.

Beyond NYCFC and Red Bulls, there is another game to focus on.  Abbie Mood from Burgundy Wave and Unusual Efforts joins Blue City Radio to discuss the Colorado Rapids first visit to Yankee Stadium and also chime in on USWNT as they head down to Rio for the Olympics.

And lastly, the moment you’ve been waiting for, Jon will make his appearance as Ned Grabavoy, full kit wanker at Saturday’s game.

#HarrisonBeatsHarrison / Ep 77 / Blue City Radio

Episode 77

Credit to Mike Vazquez for coming up with the apt hashtag.  It was a great win by NYCFC and more importantly, it was three points that landed them first place in the Eastern conference.

Mike and Jon start off the episode chatting with Kristan Heneage (although we cannot agree on whether it’s pronounced Kristan or Christian) from Yahoo Sports UK to discuss the Hudson River Derby.

Following the discussion of the game, we look ahead at a busy week for NYCFC as the team completes its final multi-game week of the season playing both New England and Kansas City.
