Mike and Jon invite Long Island native and Center Back for the Vancouver Whitecaps to Blue City Radio.  Tim talks about the transition to Vancouver, his time with the USMNT and his development from college to MLS.

Following the interview Mike and Jon discuss the two games this week with Montreal and Vancouver both coming into Yankee Stadium.  Mike is hopeful for 4 of 6 points while Jon predicts just 1.  Let’s see who’s hunch is more accurate.

It feels like deja vu all over again,  NYCFC fail to earn points after a promising start to the season.  While Head Coach Patrick Vieira espouses the value of creating, NYCFC’s defense looked porous against MLS Cup Runner-Ups, Columbus Crew.  Mike is joined by Martin Bihl, from Last Word on Sports to discuss the game from Saturday night.

Mike then interviews Director Justin Webster who put together a poignant film about the creation of NYCFC.  Beginning with the hiring of Claudio Reyna, Win! The Movie takes you on a journey right up to the hiring of Patrick Vieira with an inside look into the challenges of starting anything from scratch.

Patrick Vieira changed the formation for the second match up against the Chicago Fire.  NYCFC kept the Fire from recording a single shot on goal with a great effort from Frederic Brilliant and Jason Hernandez.

Mike and Jon recap that game and discuss the decision by Vieira to bench Shelton and Lopez.
