Mike and Jon are joined by Martin Bihl of Last Word on Sports.  Mike and Martin first met covering the US Open Cup game between NYCFC and the Cosmos.  Martin took the co-pilot’s seat in June while Mike was out of town.  Together the three discuss the upcoming game against Columbus and then they dive into the Blue City Radio mailbag to answer your questions.

Episode 33: Backs Against the Wall

Walking into the NYCFC locker room following the 3-1 victory over DC United, there was a simple message on the team’s white board, “Our backs are against the wall.  Are you ready to fight?”

This week’s episode looks back at the incredible response from NYCFC after falling to Red Bull.  We review the top notch performance by Poku and recap the whole game.

Following that, Jon and I are joined by Nick Scicolone of Los Templados.  Then we preview the two games this week and answer your questions.
